We have been working with a commercial plumbing and drainage company supporting them with their tender submissions through our sister company, Bid & Tender Support. It soon became clear they had a few certificate renewals due and needed assistance in where to start. We provided them with a demonstration of how our ComplianceManaged® portal could help them get everything ready prior to their renewal submissions. We also explained how it provided reminders and alerts throughout the year, helping to keep compliance documentation up to date.
An advantage of becoming an Advanced Plus member of ComplianceManaged® is we, KCS Compliance Services, manage all our client’s Health & Safety documents on their behalf throughout the year, keeping everything up to date. This means when certificates such as Constructionline or CHAS are up for renewal, we complete the process quickly and efficiently on behalf of our client. In 2020 there were added requirements regarding COVID-19 and we were able to support our client in completing these segments, demonstrating how they are complying with government guidance to protect their staff and customers during the pandemic.
Being a busy company, they could see the benefits provided by our ComplianceManaged® service straight away, and how our portal would save them time going forward. They began to upload their documents onto ComplianceManaged®, which highlighted the areas where they needed to supply more information. Once this process was complete, we were able to populate the Constructionline, CHAS, SafeContractor and Achilles portals on their behalf.

The scheme acts as an umbrella body to facilitate mutual recognition between different health and safety schemes.
CHAS (The Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme) is a preapproved scheme which allows contractors to demonstrate to potential clients that they meet the required health & safety standards.
