05 Jun BHTA
At KCS Compliance we support organisations implement and retain accreditations/memberships. The following sets out the BHTA and who may benefit from having this accreditation/membership.
The British Healthcare Trades Association (BHTA) is one of the UK’s oldest and is the largest healthcare association, founded in 1917.
When you join the BHTA, you become a member of the UK’s largest dedicated healthcare association, run democratically for the members by the members: you can have your say with the BHTA!
The BHTA represents large and small companies, organised in one or more of 14 sections covering most sectors of the industry. This unique sectional structure provides a platform for all companies to have an effective voice within BHTA and, through the Association, to influence the development of healthcare policies in the UK.
At the heart of our association is the Code of Practice, which sets out the standards that all members must meet to demonstrate best practice in their business dealings. The Code of Practice is recognised as the UK industry standard and means that member companies trade ethically and professionally and is approved under the Consumer Codes Approval Scheme run by the Trading Standards Institute.
If you’d like to know more about BHTA or any other accreditation, get in touch today and we can support you through the whole process to securing an accreditation relevant to your business.
